WJ Keenan is equipping our leaders of the future. The Government Academy at Keenan provides opportunities for students to investigate topics and hone skills in law, government, and public policy as they develop strong communication, writing, and presentation skills. Students participate in field experiences and job shadowing opportunities in leadership, public policy, and government professions. Internships are available for seniors. Students gain skills to implement, monitor, and uphold the laws, regulations, and ethics that guide society. With extracurricular activities like debate club, student government, and mock trial. Students will be immersed in a curriculum of project based coursework in ethics and social responsibility.
