Adrian Rhett is Dreher's "Classified Employee of the Year"

When you see our always congenial custodian Adrian Rhett, extend a "Thank you" and a "Congratulations."  Mr. Rhett has been selected as Dreher's "Classified Employee of the Year."  Mr. Rhett is in his fourth year of service to Dreher.  Before joining our staff, he spent years in the District's landscaping crew.

Mr. Rhett was selected as Dreher's Classified Employee of the Year because of his positive outlook, strong work ethic and willingness to go above and beyond normal expectations.  In the cafeteria Mr. Rhett teaches proper custodial methods to the special education students as part of their vocational training.  Besides keeping us clean on campus, Mr. Rhett has taken total control over the maintenance of the Memorial complex.  He works each home event at the stadium and track.  At a moment's notice, even outside of normal work hours, Mr. Rhett opens the canteen for team and band parents to allow them access for set up and delivereies.

It is clear Mr. Rhett takes pride in what he does.  He says, "I get up every morning and greet the teachers, staff and students while loooking forward to supporting their daily efforts.   When people come to our school and see that our classrooms are clean and well-kept, I know that I have contributed to a good first impression."

You have made a good impression on all of us, Adrian Rhett!
