Welcome to W. J. Keenan High School a school of excellence where we are striving to higher levels of achievement. I am both pleased and excited to be returning to the Keenan family where students, parents, community members, and faculty are working together to provide the best opportunity for every student.
Our commitment is to excellence. Working together we will set, maintain, and assist every student in working towards achieving at his or her highest level of academic potential. We will have high levels of expectations but we will all work together so everyone can achieve success.
We welcome you to visit and volunteer at Keenan. We ask for your assistance in promoting Keenan Pride and being B.L.U.E. (Be there and prepared, Live responsibly, Uphold integrity, and Earn and give respect) at all times. Teacher Professional Biography:
I have received the following degrees:
BS in Chemistry from the University of South Carolina
MEd in Educational Administration from the University of South Carolina
EdS in Educational Administration from the University of South Carolina
I began my professional career in education at W.J. Keenan High School. At Keenan I taught chemistry and physics. I also began my administrative career at Keenan where I served as Dean of Academics and assistant principal. I have also worked at Lower Richland High School as an assistant principal. I served as the principal of North Middle/High School for two years before returning to Keenan where I presently serve as principal.
